Our story
Alicent is a generative artificial intelligence company, founded in November 2023 by Petri Martinmäki and Oscar Michelsson. The company offers a comprehensive and fully integrated generative artificial intelligence and document cloud platform for high-performing teams and large enterprises. After being selected to the SILTA program in March 2024, Alicent expanded to San Francisco and secured funding from Microsoft for Startups, Business Finland and its founders in May 2024.

Chief Executive Officer
Petri Martinmäki is distinguished by his innovative contributions to software engineering and AI, including co-authoring the MOODS DNA sequence search algorithm. His academic achievements are marked by Master's in Computer Science and Master's in Economics and Business Administration.
Chief Operating Officer
Oscar Michelsson's expertise in tech sales and operations is marked by his role in launching a Swedish Data Center at UpCloud and driving partner business revenue growth at IBM. He holds an Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics.
Head of Customer Success
Matias Korpisalo has excelled in product management, notably launching Nordea's E-commerce Finance product and driving a 10% increase in sales penetration for private banking services. He holds a Master’s in Industrial Management.
